About the Author
Jim Ridgway served 23 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviator and leader, deploying to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Eastern Pacific. He later served as Chief of Staff for Destroyer Squadron One and commanded two Navy Operational Support Centers. Since retiring from active duty in 2014, he has led change management, aviation management, and emergency management initiatives in the private sector. He lives in California with his wife, Sarah.
