Jim Ridgway served 23 years in the U.S. Navy as an aviator and leader, deploying to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the Eastern Pacific. He later served as Chief of Staff for Destroyer Squadron One and commanded two Navy Operational Support Centers.
